Certificate of Conformity is mandatory for each consigment of goods to achieve customs clearance, goods exempted from the program are still subject to Kenyan Burau of Standards’ inspection.
The conformity certification process consists of physical inspection prior to shipment, sampling, analyzing in accredited laboratories, documentary check and the assessment of conformity to Kenyan Standards.
