Inspection is required for all products falling under the list of Mandatory Ethiopian Standards.

Every consignment of qualifying goods is to be physically inspected and following a laboratory testing or documentary verification, an inspection report for shipment conformity is provided. A non-conformity report (NCR) is issued if verification activities do not fall under inspection crteria. Exporters will be informed accordingly to maket he necessary corrections.
